Schedloop (“the App”) is a Jira Cloud app that creates recurring issues. This policy explains what data the App handles and how. The App is operated by Algobridge (“we”, “us”), contact: support@schedloop.com.
Schedloop is built on Atlassian Forge and participates in the Runs on Atlassian program. Your data never leaves Atlassian’s cloud infrastructure. We operate no external servers, transmit your data to no third party, and use no analytics or tracking.
What the App stores
The App stores only the configuration you create, in Atlassian’s hosted app storage (Forge storage) within your own Jira site:
- Schedule definitions: name, target project, issue type, recurrence rule, timezone, time of day, selected holiday calendar, and options such as “avoid duplicates.”
- Templated summary/description text you enter.
- Operational state needed to run schedules: the next scheduled run time, the key of the most recently created issue, and the timestamp/message of the last run (including any error), so the App can display status and avoid duplicate issues.
The App does not store Jira issue contents, user profiles, credentials, or payment information.
What the App accesses
To create and manage recurring issues, the App uses the Jira REST API within your site under the following scopes:
read:jira-work— read project and issue-type metadata, and the status of the previously created issue (for the “avoid duplicates” feature).write:jira-work— create issues on your schedule and transition issues where applicable.read:jira-user— validate reporter/assignee where needed.storage:app— store your schedule configuration (as above).
The App acts under an app identity and does not read or export your issue data outside your Jira site.
Where data is processed and stored
All processing and storage occur within Atlassian’s cloud infrastructure via Forge. As a Runs on Atlassian app, Schedloop performs no external network calls (no egress) and uses no external data processors. Holiday calendar data is bundled with the App and requires no external lookups.
Data retention and deletion
Schedule configuration and operational state persist while the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, its app storage is removed by Atlassian in accordance with the Forge platform lifecycle. You may also delete individual schedules at any time from the App’s settings page.
Third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your data. We use no third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing services. Billing for the App (if you are on a paid plan) is handled by Atlassian; refer to Atlassian’s privacy policy for payment processing.
Security
The App relies on Atlassian Forge’s security model, including Atlassian-managed authentication, hosting, and data residency controls. Because the App holds no external secrets and makes no external calls, its attack surface outside Atlassian is minimal.
